MARINEDIESELS RPM-Motorserie
MI MarineDiesels RPM-motorserie ingår dessa motorer:

*200Hk Barracuda-RPM
*330Hk Hammerhead-RPM
*400Hk Tigershark

MARINEDIESEL’S “RPM” Series Engines
From day one MarineDiesel has been focused on producing the highest performing direct replacement marine diesel engines our industry has to offer. With this at hand MarineDiesel desired to produce a diesel engine product that better duplicated the top end performance of the typical gasoline small block and big block V8 engines; hence the birth of MarineDiesel’s “RPM” engine line with a 4,000 RPM redline.

The “RPM” engine line is the industry’s only Supercharged V8 based marine diesel engine that operates at 4,000 rpm and therefore allows the standard gear ratio’s from both Mercruiser and Volvo Penta sterndrives to better operate as designed. With standard lower rpm diesel engines, the standard ratios of 1.36 - 2.00 are not suited to properly match their torque curves and propping requirements.

MarineDiesel’s “RPM” engine lineup includes the 200 Hp Barracuda-RPM engine, the 330 Hp Hammerhead-RPM engine, and topping the lineup is the 400 Hp Tigershark which is offered only as an RPM engine. Individual spec sheets are not included for these products as the RPM product changes effect only the horsepower between 3600 & 4000 rpm, not the lower rpm torque levels.

The RPM series engines include custom DB series mechanical fuel pumps as well as MarineDiesel’s custom injectors. The main benefit of the RPM engines appears in top speed with sterndrive models, not to be confused with the additonal torque required by heavier boats.
