MarineDiesel Sweden AB to supply engines for commercial
applications in Uganda and Bulgaria.
Engelholm Sweden 22nd November 2005 -
MarineDiesel Sweden AB announced today that it has signed a contract with a boat
manufacturer in Holland to supply engines for commercial applications in Uganda
with the ministry of fisheries and Bulgaria with the Maritime
administration.
"MarineDiesel has increased its focus on the commercial
market and we are very happy with this agreement as it will open up new
opportunities for the future. We have had a high rate of product renewal in
recent years and a large portion of this has been focused on the commercial
markets, this contract is further confirmation that our products are highly
competitive" comments Andreas Blomdahl, President of MarineDiesel Sweden.

MarineDiesels's line of performance V8 supercharged diesel
engines are based on the same engines used in the Hummer military vehicle. Base
engines are purchased through a contract direct from General Engine Products
which is AM General's engine subsidiary company. AM General is the manufacturer
of the well known Humvee and Hummer automotive vehicles. Marine engine
marinization is done at two separate locations depending on the intended final
location of the product. Both the Engelholm Sweden and Stillwater Oklahoma
manufacturing facilities build the same product utilizing the Swedish Lysholm
design supercharger. MarineDiesel has been building marine diesel engines since
1998 and has distributors in over 20 countries around the world. MarineDiesel
engines are popular both as gasoline replacement and for commercial patrol boat
usage.
